How can I register to stay at Goodness Village?

Fill out the online application, or simply contact us at 501-530-0095 and we will be happy to walk you through the process. There is no social work referral required. We accept any patient or family member of a patient who is receiving medical treatment in Little Rock.

Who owns and operates Goodness Village?

Goodness Village is a local non-profit organization that is governed by a local board of directors who are responsible for the program development and operation.

How is Goodness Village funded?

Generous supporters like you help fund Goodness Village, however the majority of our funding comes from our guests and the nightly occupancy fees we must charge.  We rely on individual donors, business partnerships and churches to help cover additional fees, program expenses as well as funding for our scholarship program.

How much does it cost to stay?

Rates are determined based on length of stay.  We offer long and short term prices plus a one-time cleaning fee. Please contact us directly to get a better overview of our pricing structure.  Please note that we have scholarship funds available for those facing financial hardship.

How do I qualify for a Scholarship for GV apartment housing?

We recognize that being away from home and receiving medical treatment is a financial burden.  We review as a team each individual’s situation and determine the best option possible.  We feel so blessed to be able to provide scholarships due to the generosity of our contributors.

Who is eligible to stay at GV?

Patients, and their caregivers, receiving medical treatment in Little Rock are eligible to stay at GV.  The caregivers are still welcome to utilize the apartment even if the patient has to be admitted to the hospital.   It is important to us to keep the families together in a comfortable environment so they are able to relax and stay strong to care for their family member who is receiving treatment.

Does GV Require a lease or contract to be signed?

GV strives to make things easy and does not require a lease or contract to be signed. When dealing with medical situations we understand that it is difficult to predict how long a family may need an apartment.  We ask that families keep us updated with their schedule so that we can manage the flow of others who are seeking housing.

Does GV allow smoking or pets in the apartments?

Keeping our apartments clean and fresh is very important to us, so we are able to provide a healthy environment for our guests. GV does not allow smoking or pets inside the apartments.  Any guest who does not follow this policy will kindly be asked to vacate the apartment and an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

How does GV get involved when my insurance covers some or all of my housing costs?

We recommend that you research your insurance policy prior to your stay. In many cases we find that insurance companies reimburse partially or even fully for housing costs during medical treatment. GV will  provide a receipt that clearly outlines the appropriate details of the associated costs to ensure your possible reimbursement in a timely manner.

What do I need to bring?

GV offers beautiful, fully-furnished apartments which include all utilities.  Our apartments are move-in ready and have everything one might need down to the books, games and puzzles.  We take pride in the fine details of ensuring a comfortable stay where families can focus on relaxing and recovering.  We provide all cleaning supplies to promote healthy living and even have medical equipment on hand if needed.

Do you serve meals?

Our volunteers work hard at keeping our ministry freezer stocked with healthy meals for our guests.  Volunteers from our Care Team try to deliver homemade soups and casseroles on a weekly basis or upon request. We also try to provide gift cards for local grocery stores and restaurants to bless our families when we can.  We care!

Can GV accommodate children or families with children?

Our apartments work great for families and we take pride in keeping the families together. Please note that children under (18) must be with a parent or guardian at all times.
